Travels Here's a few pictures of our recent trip to the comics festival in Angouleme, France and to Elvis Studio in Geneva, Switzerland.

New Stuff Our first show at the San Diego Comic-Con International went very well. Thanks to everyone who came by. We plan to set up shop at SPX in Maryland on October 1-3 www.spxpo.com. This is our first East Coast show, and we hope to see you there. Gary Panter's Jimbo in Purgatory is now available from Fantagraphics www.fantagraphics.com. We printed a block engraving cut by Mr. Panter, which is tipped into the signed and numbered deluxe version of the book. It's spoon printed on Gampi rice paper in dozens of different colors in an edition of 400. 
Johnny Ryan's Funny Pages is now available www.johnnyr.com/shop/shop_comix.html. It collects 24 newspaper strip parodies by Johnny into one gorgeous package, wrapped up in a three-color letterpress print cover produced by The Buenaventura Press. 
Tim Biskup’s Calli (the latest in his 'Alphabeast' vinyl toy series) is available in two colors at www.flopdoodle.com. The 9" tall figure comes in a letterpress printed box designed by Tim & printed by hand at The Buenaventura Press. New Stuff We just completed three new prints by Daniel Clowes, Julie Doucet, and Gary Panter. They are available here at the website and at Meltdown in Hollywood, Signal Books in Berkeley, and The Beguiling in Toronto. Most of the prints are available in Germany at X für U in Freiburg and through Oog and Blik http://www.oogenblik.nl/ in Holland. MoCCA The new Daniel Clowes print "The Death Ray" will be available at the Fantagraphics table during MoCCA in Manhattan, June 26-27, 2004. San Diego Comic-Con International - July 22-25, 2004 No gallery show this year, but you will find us inside the convention sharing tables with friends: Martin Cendreda Jordan Crane Bart Johnson Anders Nilsen John Pham Souther Salazar Mark Todd Esther Watson Steven Weissman and others. We will hopefully premier here new projects by Marc Bell, Bart Johnson, Amy Lockhart, Joe Matt, Johnny Ryan, and Souther Salazar. All of these artists will be in attendance and at our tables at some point during the show. Stop by to see the new projects and say hello. The Meltdown display The folks at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles ( www.meltcomics.com ) were kind enough to let us use a case in the store to diplay our wares. Along with the prints there are some of the production materials like some plates, one of the engraved woodblocks, correspondence and layouts etc. Let us know what you think. If there is interest we hope to keep our display going and rotate it as new projects are completed.
